Lindsay Lohan is getting her own reality series, and some of us have been waiting our whole lives for this

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here: After what seemed like forever, the Lindsay Lohan-shaped hole in our lives will at long last be filled. Our favorite (former) mean girl is officially getting her own reality series. AND THIS IS NOT A DRILL, YOU GUYS.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, MTV is taking the reins on the project in partnership with Bunim/Murray Productions — the outfit behind reality hit shows like Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Project Runway — and will be trading the shores of Jersey for the island of Mykonos, Greece. Reportedly set at the Lohan Beach House (a real place in Greece), the series will revolve around Lohan and the staff of her club, both in and outside of work. So yes, expects lots of workplace drama and escapades around the Mediterranean.
A source close to the actress told Page Six that Lohan Beach House will be a lot different compared to what we’ve become accustomed to watching.
"The show will have this European flavor to it," the insider divulged. "Lindsay feels that it’s not so uptight like filming in Los Angeles or New York, and they can get a better cast of characters."
Lohan has kept herself mostly under the radar for the last few years. Her last film credit was Paul Schrader’s 2013 movie The Canyons, but she’s made a few TV appearances here and there, including a guest spot in the second season of the British television comedy Sick Note, which airs later this week.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Lindsay shared a few details about the beach club. She revealed that she’s designed most of it, and even curated the playlists, which she described as, “Top 40 with a healthy serving of deep house.” While she is currently spending most of her time in Dubai, she says she’s now primarily preoccupied with handling her growing businesses. “There’s a business side to my life now, but I’m not in America, so no one knows about it, which is nice for me,” she says. You go, girl!
No word yet on the title and premiere date of the show, but one thing’s for sure: it will be nothing short of fetch.
