These are all the books on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s summer reading list

Lin-Manuel Miranda is one busy guy. He was just on vacation, and these are all the books on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s summer reading list, reported Entertainment Weekly. Miranda posted them in a tweet. Of course, even before he posted his list, we assumed he loves to read since we all know Hamilton was inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow.

Between doing his summer reading, Miranda’s also been busy planning future creative projects. ICYMI, Miranda will write new songs for the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. We. Can’t. Wait!!!

And, in addition to reading keeping him busy, Miranda came out with a Hamilton-related app yesterday, August 11th, according to The Verge.

With the HamApp, users (like you!) can potentially win two seats to Hamilton, which we know is ~not cheap~, for just $10 each. Woo-hoo!

Now, without further ado, here’s what’s on Miranda’s summer reading list. You can see if you agree or disagree, as well as see how many of these books you’ve already read.

Quick aside: LOL about the subtitle Miranda posted, right?!

“The Books I Enjoyed On Vacation (None of which I am adapting into a musical, good reads all).

We don’t know about you, but we LOVED Miranda’s list, and he definitely gave us #readinginspo! So…did people on Twitter agree with Miranda’s selections? Here’s what some said.

Again, LOL!

And this Twitter user makes a great point!

We can relate to this tweet, too!

Our thoughts exactly!

And this is some of us rn…! Yup, the struggle is real!

To say we’re impressed with Miranda’s summer reading list is an understatement! However, the real question is, what’s on your list?!
