Lily-Rose Depp’s first magazine cover is making our jaws drop

Love Magazine has announced their cover model for Love 15, and it’s none other than Lily-Rose Depp.

Posting to Instagram with the caption, #love16 Cover thank you!!! @thelovemagazine @kegrand@willyvanderperre @panosyiapanis,” Lily-Rose shared her first ever magazine cover. And it looks amazing.

Lily-Rose Depp, if you aren’t acquainted, is the eldest child of model Vanessa Paradis and actor Johnny Depp. In 2015 alone, she’s gone from being celebrity child to It Girl, gaining a massive following on Instagram and booking major modeling gigs. Lily-Rose has been featured in the pages of Oyster Magazine and British Vogue, and was the face of Chanel Eyewear last year.

She also walked the runway with her mother at the Chanel Paris-Salzburg show in New York this past fall, which, as Nylon points out, is major considering Karl Lagerfeld is notoriously hard to please (and extremely verbal about whom he likes and dislikes). Landing the cover of a magazine is still a big deal for an up-and-coming model, and Depp nails it. 

One of the things we love most about this cover is that it’s so fun. The cover depicts a close-up shot of her face done up in lots of vibrant, colorful makeup. The photo was taken by Willy Vanderperre, and the makeup was done by Lucia Pieroni.

In the feature, Lily-Rose tells Love (which inquired about the star’s career plans), “I don’t have any plans in particular. I just know this is what I want to do and I want to work hard at it, and hopefully keep finding roles as beautiful as the ones I’ve already been lucky enough to come across.” Well said, girl.

And when asked about how she came to fall in love with acting, she answered, “When I shot the scene in Tusk when I was 14. That was when I realized I wanted to be an actor. I was also surrounded by friends and family so it was a great experience!”

It looks like 2016 is set to be the year of Lily-Rose.
