Lily-Rose Depp makes another mega-splash: She’s the new face of Chanel

Meet Karl Lagerfeld’s newest muse. Spoiler alert, we’re already obsessed with her.

Lily-Rose Depp, the 16-year-old daughter of acting god Johnny Depp and French singer and model Vanessa Paradis has scored the ultimate fashion honor – serving as the latest ambassador for Chanel.

But don’t be too surprised; Depp has some serious modeling chops in her family. According to British Vogue, Depp’s mother made her Chanel debut in 1990 and was walking the catwalks during Paris Fashion Week this winter.

Here’s her mama back in the day:

The teaser pictures of Lily-Rose show her rocking a ladylike Chanel blouse, pearl-encrusted sunglasses, and a seriously fierce marsala-colored lip (we will take one of each, please).

Lagerfeld, who serves as the brand’s creative director and head designer, also shot the campaign. “Lily-Rose is stunning,” he said in a statement. “She’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star.”

But she doesn’t just have good looks. The budding model is also working on following in the footsteps of her famous father, and is in several upcoming movies in the next year.

Now that we’re trolling her Instagram, we see that Lily-Rose did give us a little Chanel teaser 14(!) weeks back! We should have known.

If her killer pout and her over-achieving parents are any indicator, we can expect mega-things from this Chanel muse.
