Lili Reinhart called Cole Sprouse “my love” in a candid birthday message
Our favorite Riverdale couple, Betty and Jughead (aka Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse), are usually extremely coy about their rumored IRL romance. But we may have finally gotten some genuine, 100% confirmation in the form of Reinhart’s recent birthday message to Sprouse.
In an August 4th Insta post, the actress wrote, “It seems as if the world would still be a stranger to me, if not for you. I’m so thankful that our paths intertwined to form this beautiful adventure.”
Reinhart ended the message with "Happy birthday, my love."

And of course, fans of the show quickly honed in on the use of the word ‘love.” “SHE SAID MY LOVE,” one fan commented. Another piped in with, “Bughead is so real omg ❤ u guys.”
This isn’t the first time Betty Cooper has shared a sweet message for Sprouse’s birthday. Last year, she posted: “To the man who has showed me more beautiful places in this past year than I have ever seen in my whole life. Happy birthday, Cole. Thank you for all of the adventures and here’s to many more.”
While the most recent post isn’t *official* confirmation of a romance, we think it’s safe to say there’s a lot of love between Reinhart and Sprouse. And we’re all about it.
