Lily James just revealed which celebrity she turns to for style inspiration, and we totally see it
We think that Downton Abbey actress Lily James is an amazing performer, and her style is always perfectly on point! Whether it’s her beautiful vintage looks on Downton Abbey or her stylish modern outfits on the red carpet, she’s always so elegant and put together. We seriously want to know how she does it!
And luckily for us, she just revealed one of her major sources of style inspiration!
In a recent interview with People, James revealed that her style heroine is none other than British actress Ashley Madekwe. Most of us recognize Madekwe from her role on the hit TV show Revenge. However, Madekwe also runs an amazing style blog that James is a huge fan of.
And we have got to agree with her. The blog is giving us serious style inspiration! It’s called Ring My Bell, and we are not lying when we say that the outfits are seriously cute. What’s really great about it is that it shows detailed pictures of the looks and breaks them down piece by piece. And even better news for us non-celebrities, a lot of the pieces are from more affordable stores such as Forever 21, Madewell, and Topshop — which means we could totally recreate them at home if we felt like it.
No wonder Lily James is obsessed, we are too!
We think it’s so cool that James would be into such a quirky, DIY blog for fashion inspiration! The fact that she loves a DIY style and also stars in Burberry campaigns honestly says amazing things about how well rounded her style is.
