Lily Collins glimmered in a sheer dress that looks like it’s made from moonlight
The Cannes Film Festival might be about movies, but for us it’s all about the fashion. One of our favorite looks so far is Lily Collins, who glimmered in a sheer dress on the carpet. It looked like a magical star in the sky…but on the carpet.
On Friday, Collins stepped out at the 70th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. She was stunning in a sheer gown that made us do a serious double take.
While attending the screening for Okja — she plays a character named Red — the actress definitely stole the show. As the lights flashed on the carpet, her gown shimmered and glimmered like a crystal. It was lovely.
Even before the actress hit the carpet, she revealed she was ready to stun in a sexy Instagram post.
“Getting ready for the curtain call…” she captioned the image. Talk about a glamorous look!
Collins took it up a notch once she hit the carpet and began posing. She showed off her glitzy Ralph and Russo couture gown and Bulgari jewels from every angle.
When you zoom in, you can see how much of a natural beauty the 28-year-old actress really is. Her makeup was flawless and those brows…when aren’t they fabulous?
No matter what the angle, Collins looked like an ice princess, complete with a pretty white train.
We especially love the knotted detailing on the corset bodice. Oh, and of course all of the sequins are SO lovely.
In case you were wondering, the back detailing was equally as beautiful as the front of this dress. Its crisscross back made Collins the star to keep an eye on all night long.
Seriously, even amongst her co-stars the To the Bone star stood out. PS: her pose here screams, movie star and we totally approve.
