Lili Reinhart’s birthday message to Cole Sprouse should shut down those breakup rumors

At the end of July, a “reliable source” reported that Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse had called it quits, having allegedly heard the couple discussing their breakup at San Diego Comic-Con. However, Reinhart and Sprouse were quick to clap back at any breakup rumors. The pair both posted the cover shot from their W Magazine photoshoot, and Reinhart captioned the photo, “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know shit.” So, while neither commented specifically on the status of their relationship, we can probably assume that, ahem, the reports were wrong.

Now Reinhart has written a love poem for Sprouse and shared it on Instagram. So we can probably relax about the whole breakup thing.

"I tried to find a poem that I could send to you. Because my words were failing me. But I searched and found nothing that did you justice. All of these love poems can’t get it right. No one else’s words could ever fit. They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you," Reinhart wrote, tagging it as a "sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse."

We’re feeling both awww and phew!

It appears Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are still very much together. They’ve always kept their relationship pretty private, but we’re glad they spoke out against the breakup rumors because our hearts would have shattered if they were true.
