William and Kate have a new official portrait, which emerged from a thank you card
Confession: We love looking at photos of the royal family. Especially ones of William and Kate, and their adorable children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge always look so put together; they’re effortlessly prim and proper. So if you love them, you’ll love their newest portrait.
A photo of the couple is making the rounds on Twitter. It first emerged when a photographer Paul Ratcliffe tweeted a thank you card he received from the royal couple.
Paul had sent William and Kate a card for their fifth wedding anniversary and they sent him this nice note back. It is so British and it reads:
If anyone knows anything about royal photography, it’s Paul Ratcliffe. He himself is a photographer who’s been snapping pics of the Royal Family since 1987. He’s captured everyone from Princess Diana to Sarah, Duchess of York—even the Queen herself! So he was pretty excited to not only receive a thank you note in reply, but to find out that the couple has a new official portrait — in which they look extremely classy, of course.
Excuse us while we go write William and Kate a letter. We want a copy of that photo!
