The weasel-on-a-woodpecker photo inspired a cartoon music video, obviously
By now you’ve probably seen the adorable weasel riding on a less-than-thrilled woodpecker. It was all fun and games until we put our reality glasses on and realized that the woodpecker was probably not giving the weasel a fun aerial tour of the world, but was most likely being attacked by the weasel. That part of it obviously makes the photograph less sweet, but either way, it’s still an incredible shot taken by amateur photographer Martin Le-May.
Since the photo has made its way across social media land, the only next logical step was to create an animated music video about it — which is exactly what Internet music maestro Parry Gripp and artist Nathan Mazur did. . . and we’re obsessed. Laughing Squid directed our attention to the video and now our attention can not be redirected.
