Taking dog photos is one of life’s great joys and now our photogenic pups can take them right back. You read that right! It’s all thanks to the Posting Tail, a vest with camera that snaps a pic every time your dog wags her tail.

The Mary Sue explains that the Posting Tail takes a picture of whatever your dog is looking at when she is wagging her tail so you’ll always know what makes her happy. Our guesses are going to be you, squirrels and her dinner bowl.

This Saatchi & Saatchi Madrid video shows how the Posting Tail doesn’t just snap pictures and automatically upload them to the pet’s Facebook (all our pets have Facebooks, right?). It also uses a GPS to keep a log of all the places the pictures were taken, so you’ll start to know when and where your dog feels the happiest. “This way the dog’s tail turns into a big data generator,” the vid explains.

While there’s no price tag on this incredible invention, the Pedigree Facebook is hosting a giveaway for three lucky winners to give the Posting Tail a try. Simply post the best photo of your dog on the comments, as well as where you’re from, and your pooch could be well on her way to creating a gallery of happy memories. As far as we’re concerned, happy dog memories are the happiest memories of them all.
