Now you don't need HBO to binge-watch all of 'Sex and the City'
Even though Andy Samberg loaned us all his HBO Now password during the Emmys, the account didn’t work for long. BUT! We have good news. You can get your Sex and the City fix with or without Andy Samberg, or HBO. You can watch the show on Amazon Prime. All 94 episodes.
Deadline reports that the beloved series that introduced us to cosmos and brazen sex talk is available to stream via the Amazon Video app for TVs, on connected devices and mobile devices as well as downloadable on iOS, Android and Fire devices for offline viewing. So you can see Carrie and the girls in NYC any time you want. Don’t get Carried away though, okay? (Sorry, we HAD to.)
So, this is actually a pretty big deal, because this is the first time HBO has licensed any of their shows to a streaming service. If you’ve only got a Netflix subscription, maybe it’s worth it to cough up that $100 to join Prime now? You’ll get SATC and free shipping on a Carrie necklace.
Plus, HBO and Amazon’s deal includes some other great binge-watches like Rome, The Wire and The Sopranos. Or True Blood if you’re in more of a deep guilty pleasure mood. Whatever you pick, it sounds like a party we want to come to! We’ll bring the martini glasses.
