“Ugly Woman” in Painting Confounds Her Unwilling Owners

Have you ever been left a gift by a secret admirer? What if that gift wasn’t necessarily something you wanted, like, say, a painting of an “ugly woman” whose identity is as unknown as the gifter’s? That’s exactly what happened to English couple Keith and Sue Webb from Winchester, and they’re not all that pleased about it.

From BBC News:

Aw, that poor “horrid old crone” was probably a real person, and I doubt she’d take kindly to being called such a thing. Ha! I love the look of consternation on her face. You can tell that the subject of the painting doesn’t take any s**t in real life, and that makes me love it even more.

Speaking of which, anyone know how I can contact Keith Webb and buy this thing?

There’s a video at the BBC website, so be sure to check it out.
