Disneyland is throwing a huge party to celebrate the reopening of Tower of Terror...er, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout
In a few short weeks, we’re going to meet Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout. Or, better yet, we’re going to meet it again. The new attraction at Disneyland’s California Adventure used to be, once upon a time, the very beloved Tower of Terror. Now, with a new, shiny coat of paint and a hefty dose of Chris Pratt we’ve got a brand new ride fit for a budding superhero.
California Adventure is pretty excited about this reimagining, and we are, too. So, to celebrate, the Anaheim, California theme park is pulling out all the stops and throwing a huge Galactic Premiere Party to celebrate all things Star-Lord.
Mission: Breakout is going to ~officially~ open on May 27th, but the night before, California Adventure is opening up the park for this one-of-a-kind all-night event (that ends at 1 a.m.). The Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Galactic Premiere Party will offer guests their very first chance to ride the new ride, and also some other pretty cool stuff, too.
Along with experiencing Mission: Breakout as many times as your heart desires throughout the night, you’ll also be able to meet up with Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider-Man and Captain America — and possibly Groot, too but don’t quote us on that. They’ll also be custom merchandise throughout the event, and FOOD.
Tickets for the event will cost you $150, and will get you into California Adventure starting at 7 p.m. that night (check-in for the event stars at 6 p.m., and sorry for that poorly placed Tower of Terror throwback). Not only will you have the area of Hollywood Land for the evening but you’ll also get a voucher for $15 worth of food, and a guaranteed to receive a “limited-edition pin, hat, tote bag, comic book and more” as you exit the park for the night.
Sound like a fun way to spend a Friday? Yes. You can snag tickets right here, and see you there, Star-Lord(s).
