Don't worry, Finnair's Friday the 13th trip onboard Flight 666 arrived in HEL safely
Flight 666 to HEL arrived safely — and two minutes ahead of schedule — today, on Friday the 13th.
The flight departed from Copenhagen just after 1 p.m. (13:00) local time, and disembarked at Gate 26. According to the delighted Helsinki Airport, that’s 13 doubled.

According to the airline, Finnair, this is the last time Flight 666 will fly on Friday the 13th. Finnair has scheduled the eerie trip to HEL (Helsinki) 21 times on a Friday 13 over the last 11 years.
Most recently, it sent Flight 666 from CPH to HEL on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017. The airplane used on that day was a dubious 13 years old, but that flight also went off without a hitch.

It’s not too late to take Flight 666 to HEL on a less frightening day, however. The airline has 15 more scheduled trips for Flight 666 before the flight number is retired on October 29. (Superstitious travelers will be happy to know Flight 666 will be replaced with Flight 954.)
If Flight 954 to HEL is just not scary enough, travelers can consider the airline’s route from SIN to HEL (Singapore to Helsinki). The flight number will not, however, be 666.
