There’s nothing like getting a care package while we’re away at college. Unless of course you don’t do your chores when you are homing visiting your parents. Connor Cox found that our the hard way when he received a care package from his mom. Before he opened it, he assumed that he was going to nice little treats and gifts for his dorm room. But you know what happens when you assume. Conner’s mom, wanting to send him a message, sent him a big box of trash that Conner was supposed to take out during winter break.

“I have raised and taught Connor better than this, and his actions deserve consequences — even if they are humorous,” Terri, Connor’s mom, told BuzzFeed, after thoroughly owning her son. false

Conner made an agreement with his mom to do his chores over obviously went ignored. But Connor’s sister went on Twitter to tell the whole story. It wasn’t just trash that hadn’t been taken out. Apparently this was the trash that was left all over his floor. Gross! Gotta love a sister who’s ready to air your dirty laundry (there was probably a lot of that, too).

Conner’s mom Terri was quite proud of herself for the prank and she should be. It get’s the point across in a hilarious way that I’m sure Connor will never forget. And now that it’s gone viral we hope that kids know that if they don’t clean up after themselves they might be receiving a box in the trash in the mail from mom.
