It’s been more than three decades since Pee-Wee Herman found himself on an epic journey trying to retrieve his stolen red bike in Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. Now in a trailer for the new film, Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday, our favorite grey-suited man-child is living a comfortable, surprise-free life in Fairville without a desire to ever leave. When Pee-Wee is asked if he wonders what life is like outside of his town, he replies,“You know I don’t want to go anywhere or try anything new!”

After a mysterious, motorcycle-riding stranger (played by Joe Mangianello) shows up one day, Pee-Wee changes his mind and becomes inspired to explore the world, packing his bags and setting off on a bigger adventure than ever before. Of course, a vacation for Pee-Wee would never go off without a hitch. He immediately gets kidnapped by a trio of female bank robbers, then finds himself in strange scenarios including a hitchhiking ride where he gets picked up by a mobile hair salon (sadly, not driven by Large Marge) and visits to an Amish village and a snake farm.

The film, which is produced by Judd Apatow and written by Reubens and Paul Rust, makes its debut on Netflix on March 18 . Check out the trailer below!
