There was a "Teen Witch" reunion, and it was the stuff of magic nostalgia
Fans of the cinematic treasure, Teen Witch, will be excited to hear that the movie’s cast members recently reunited. The 1989 film, which is dear to so many ’80s-loving hearts, tells the story about an unpopular teenager named Louise Miller (Robyn Lively) who discovers she is descended from a line of witches and uses her powers become the queen of her high school. The film’s key actors came together to record commentary for an upcoming Blu-ray edition, including Louise’s hunky crush Brad (Dan Gaultier), rapping BFF Polly (Mandy Ingber), annoying little brother Ritchie (Joshua John Miller), and even Louise’s rival Randa (Lisa Fuller who actually ended up marrying Brad in real life!).
The teen bruja herself, Robyn, (who is big sister to Blake Lively) excitedly posted a photo of the magical reunion.
“Sooo… THIS happened!!! AHHHH!! #Louise #Polly #Bradtheredhotlover #Randa and #Richie! The cast of our beloved #TEENWITCH REUNITE for the DVD commentary! It was pure #MAGIC!!” she wrote, including hashtags referencing some of Teen Witch’s most memorable scenes.
For instance, “#nevergonnabethesameagain” references the moment when Louise uses her powers to become the most popular girl.
And “#yourmorningpapah” is a nod to Richie, (who stole ALL the scenes he was in).
Finally, “Can’t #topthat” pays tribute to the infamous “Top That” rap scene.
