Let’s all be honest with ourselves: If there’s one feature we’ve been desperately waiting for Instagram to bring into the game, it’s zoom. Sure, our phone cameras can zoom, but not being able to zoom in on Instagram videos and photos is a huge bummer. After all, that’s the best way to reaaaaally get the deets on a picture (aka, subtly stalk someone), are we right? Or, you know, it’s the best way to see all the juicy details of your latest #brunch pics. Either way, being able to zoom in on Instagram is a game changer.

That’s why we’re so excited to see Instagram announce that you can now zoom in on photos and videos if you’re an iOs user. And we’re not the only ones excited about this update, judging by social media:

Android users, we’re still waiting, but allegedly the feature will be released for us within the next few weeks! Instagram has been doing awesome stuff lately, between Instagram Stories and their new design, so we’re pretty excited to see more cool features, like the zoom function, being added to the app.
