What happens when you attach a blinking light to a little robot that cleans your floor? Surprisingly, you get some pretty amazing Roomba artwork, which is the definition of being the perfect balance of creative and tech-savvy.

We’re not sure who the first person who decided to give this Rooba light art trick a try, but we can say that they’re probably a genius. We knew Roombas were great for beer pong, but light art? We never would’ve thought of it.

While light art in general is awesome, these Roomba pics take the cake. The best part? They don’t sound too challenging to recreate yourself.

Reddit user benkol posted a super impressive image to the /r/pics sharing subreddit and it quickly piqued the interest of users of the site.

According to the poster, they attached a blinking light on their vacuuming robot and left the exposure open on the camera. The picture caught the action of it cleaning up the living room floor.

What they were left with was this mesmerizing neon light show that highlights the pattern the robot took and leaves one awesome piece of art.

We’re seriously impressed. This small robot doesn’t just do the dirty work of cleaning up our floors without us having to lift a finger, turns out their artistic talent is just as impressive.
