Our beloved Taylor Swift announced on her website today that she has teamed up with Glu Mobile Inc. to “develop a new one-of-a-kind mobile game for smartphones and tablet devices.” I wonder if her game will be as addictive as Kim Kardashian‘s or Katy Perry‘s forthcoming venture! Considering everything Taylor Swift does is magic (not to mention incredibly well produced), I have high hopes.

Swift’s new game follows her 2015 Emmy-award win for Best Original Interactive Program for American Express UNSTAGED: Taylor Swift Experience, which, for those of you who don’t remember, was a 360 degree experience of her music video Blank Space.

While details of the new game are sparse, representatives for Glu Mobile Inc. said in news release that the game would be part of a multi-year partnership with the artist. Glu will make a “one-of-a-kind digital gaming experience.” With Swift involved, I have no doubt it will be unique. I mean, again, have you seen her videos? Her concerts? Her Instagram? The girl is creative — not to mention talented.

“We realize that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience,” Glu chairman and CEO Niccolo de Masi said. “Glu is equally committed to designing never before seen gameplay elements that utilize Taylor’s unique creativity. Accordingly, we will spend the required development time to ensure this innovation is achieved.”

Maybe, if we’re really, really lucky, guys, Swift’s cats Meredith and Olivia Benson will be characters in the game.
