Taylor Swift wasn’t always the bob-haired glamazon we know and love today. Once upon a time, she was a rising country music star touring the country with a hit song called “Tim McGraw.”

While today we think of Tay Tay as a musical powerhouse, a lifelong frenemy of Kanye West, and queen of #SquadGoals, a decade ago, she was a 16-year-old girl with long, curly locks walking the red carpet at the Country Music Television Music Awards.

Here she is in 2006, gliding down her first-ever red carpet in a white, spaghetti-strap summer dress:

We can’t get over that hair!

Of course, she was just as gorgeous back then as she is today, but we’re so used to the spicier version of T. Swift who struts down the red carpet at awards shows in 2016.

Just take a look at the fierce woman who walked the red carpet at the BMI Pop Awards in May!

Mind blown? Mind. Blown.
