It looks like the royals are looking forward to Christmas just as much as we are! Last week, while Kate was busy at home with the adorbs Princess Charlotte and Prince George, William attended a holiday concert to benefit the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund with Carole and Pippa Middleton. While he was there, he sang Christmas carols. Because yes, even royal princes get their holiday groove on with their in-laws. Awww.

Apparently, Christmas is going to be extra-special this year for William and Kate. Why? Because it seems that Prince George is old enough now to fully appreciate what’s going on. And he’s into it, guys. Just like any two-and-a-half-year-old would be. (And certain adults. We’re looking at you, Prince Harry. Because don’t you think he’d be fun around the holidays? Just a hunch.)

In an interview with The Big Issue magazine, Prince William predicts that “George will be bouncing around like a rabbit. If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve, it’ll be good.” We kind of love the idea of George keeping his royal dad up all night. I mean, that’s part of a traditional Christmas, right? And because he’s a good dad, it sounds like William is cool with it, too. “So that will be two children. One who suddenly appreciates Christmas, which could be quite challenging. But I’m looking forward to it,” he said.

Since the royal family always goes to church together first thing on Christmas morning, Prince George is going to have to wait a bit before he dives into his presents. But once they come home, December 25 in the royal household will look like a perfectly normal Christmas morning. William says, “We’ll watch George try to tackle his presents as he tries to unwrap them. It’s a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own.”

We can’t help but wonder what’s on Prince George’s Christmas list. Last year, he reportedly got a completely amazing hand-crafted zebra rocking horse. What will it be this year? An actual zebra? (In all seriousness, we hope not. He’d probably be down with some Hot Wheels and Legos.)

We DO know what Prince William wants this year, however, and it’s a Christmas wish we can all relate to. In his interview, he said, “It’d be nice if we got a white Christmas because we haven’t had one in many years.” That gives us a serious case of the feels. Who doesn’t love snow on Christmas morning? We can just see Prince Harry teaching his nephew how to ride a sled and Princess Charlotte sticking a carrot nose on a snowman in the royal front yard.

All of the yes. #bestchristmasever.
