Poetweet transforms ordinary tweets into compelling poetry. We need this.
If you’ve been noticing your friends waxing poetic on their Facebook walls, it’s probably because they have discovered the magic that is Poetweet. Poetweet, a website that combs through all your recent tweets and turns them into poignant works of “found poems,” is the newest way to get in touch with your creative self. It also allows you to reminiscence about all those times you tweeted about cheese and Netflix and whatever else reigns your life. Best invention ever? A thousand times yes!
Additionally, you get to choose what form your poem should take. You have the choice of a sonnet, rondel, or an indriso (don’t worry, non-English major friends, the descriptions are included so you know what you’re getting yourself into!). And best of all, you don’t even have to use your own Twitter handle to craft poems. You can use anyone you want for inspiration, including your best friend, Mindy Kaling, Donald Trump, or even the official Twitter for Grumpy Cat.
I’ve already crafted like thirty Poetweet poems, but here are my favorites so far:

I present you with goddess Mindy Kaling’s poetic side:
And of course our fave sensitive TV boyfriend, Chris Pratt:
