As you prepare to enjoy a night full of ghosts, ghouls, and fun-sized Snickers bars, take a moment to remember one of the best Halloween songs of all time: “Thriller,” by Michael Jackson. Compared to holidays like Christmas, Halloween doesn’t have an extensive soundtrack, which makes this ‘80s hit that much more classic.

It turns out President Barack Obama is a huge fan of the song. In fact, he’s such a big fan that he did a cover of it!

OK, not really. But the YouTube channel BaracksDubs uploaded a video comprised of what fees like hundreds of little clips of Mr. President saying each individual word of “Thriller’s” lyrics. The result is absolutely epic.

This little dance is made out of clips of Obama coughing. Whaaaa?

And the highlight of the video is obviously this cameo by Michelle.

BaracksDubs is run by a student at the University of Tennessee named Fadi Saleh. He’s been creating the dubs for almost three years – that’s a lot of footage to look through. Some of the most popular songs that our POTUS has dubbed in the past include “Call Me Maybe,” “Sexy and I Know It,” and “Get Lucky.”

Honestly, the only thing that could have made Barack’s version of “Thriller” better is if he had broken out into the zombie dance. Oh well, maybe next year.

Check out the full “cover” below:
