Good news for Gilmore Girls fans who  are about to start binging the revival – our favorite fictional indie band Hep Alien makes an appearance! Diehard Gilmore Girls fans will of course remember Lane Kim’s awesome band Hep Alien, and a big question for the revival was if they’d still be together. It was a hard thing to guess. As much as we wanted everything to be exactly the same in the world of Stars Hollow, we knew that there had to be some changes. It’s honestly impossible to live ten years without any change, so we had to acknowledge that Hep Alien might have drifted apart over the years.

And we’re very happy to announce, that we were totally proven wrong! The band is still together and just as awesome as ever!

This Gilmore Girls fan and diehard Lane Kim enthusiast was very happy to see that between marriage, babies, jobs, and (some) wrinkles, Hep Alien was not only together, but rocking as hard as they ever did!

First of all, everyone looks amazing! It’s so awesome to see everyone ten years after they were last on the show, but we’ve got to say that as a band Hep Alien doesn’t seem to have aged a day!

Second, story wise, it’s so sweet to know that after Lane and Zach got married, had twins, the band’s second tour, everyone’s new jobs, and everyone growing up, they still make an effort to practice together!

Here is everyone looking awesome and rocking out:
