Hold onto your hats, humans who like sweetly-tragic romantic movies made from sweetly-tragic YA novels:

A new, extended trailer for our favorite sad-book-turned-sad-movie arrived today and it’s just as moving and lovely and, let’s just say it, cry-ball inducing as the one that came before it. Except now there’s more. Today’s snippet shows more of the amazing Hazel (Shailene Woodley), more dates with Augustus (played by Ansel Elgort), more inside jokes and more of John Green’s familiar, comforting prose (“I fell in love with him the way you fall asleep: Slowly, then all at once,” says Hazel). It also shows that the film sticks at least fairly true to the book: there are shenanigans in teen cancer support group, Hazel is reading An Imperial Affliction, the couple is seen hugging and otherwise being IN LOVE in Amsterdam, etc.

The movie officially opens on June 6th and most of us really just can’t wait.
