Today is National Voter Registration Day. It’s 2015, it’s never been easier to register (You can do it online!), and still, so many eligible voters don’t register and/or don’t vote. In the 2012 presidential election, 131 million Americans voted. That’s rough to hear knowing there were 93 million Americans who were eligible to vote and… didn’t. It’s also represents a decline in voting, 13 million fewer people voted in the 2012 election than in the 2008 election.

So what do we have to do to get out the vote? Get a bunch of comedians to tell us why it’s imperative for us to register and cast our ballot on election day.

Hello Giggles is so pleased to present the following video, in which we asked our favorite comedians to convince us to vote. Our A+ participants include Paul Scheer (The League), Michael Showalter (Wet Hot American Summer), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Rec) and many other amazingly funny people. These comedians both crack our brains up and also really drive home the importance of participating in our democracy and having a say re: the big issues.

Watch, laugh, learn, and make sure, if you’re eligible to vote and NOT registered, to get your registration on over at National Voter Registration Day website.

All right, video time!
