Ike Barinholtz is on fire. Not literally, of course (though, his character did get a pretty serious burn in the hilarious comedy Sisters). But the talented performer has been absolutely killing it in the comedy arena lately. He was not only the charming neighbor in Sisters, but he’s also been the consistently hysterical sidekick to Mindy Kaling’s character on The Mindy Project. And now, he’ll be joining yet another powerful and hysterical woman onscreen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ike has joined the cast of Amy Schumer’s next feature. He’ll be playing Amy’s brother, which means he’ll also be playing the son famous actress/brilliant funny lady Goldie Hawn, who will be playing the duo’s mother. Basically, he’ll be in pretty amazing company in this movie and we’re so excited. We can only imagine all the craziness that will go down between the members of that ultra-funny “family.”

As if we needed another reason to be majorly excited for Amy’s follow up to the massively popular Trainwreck, knowing this goofball is involved makes us even more stoked to see it.

Between this news and reprising his role in the upcoming Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and being a part of Warner Bros. upcoming Suicide Squad movie, Ike is setting himself up for quite an awesome year. Not to mention, he’s also the writer Central Intelligence, which will come out this summer as well. So don’t be fooled by his silly antics, Ike Barinholtz is basically taking over Hollywood in 2016.
