In the aftermath of the tragic Orlando shooting at a gay nightclub on Saturday night, men are sharing intimate photos with the hashtag #twomenkissing. The Orlando gunman’s father says his son was so offended when he saw two men kissing that he suspects it’s why he targeted that gay nightclub. The purpose of sharing your photos of Two Men Kissing is to show solidarity with the survivors, and grief for the people who lost their lives. Ultimately, these photos suggest to the world that such displays of affection between two men are incredibly normal – nothing to be fearful or anxious about.

Here are a few of the photos that have been circling around Instagram. They definitely spread the love and feels, during a time where people are scared and unsure how to move forward.

It’s hard not to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, seeing these couples who are so loved-up. Let’s go for a few more.

When horrific tragedies happen, we can be comforted by the fact that people band together to spread positivity, and let others know that support is out there. Conquering hate crimes is a tall order, but we have to believe that it is possible through tactful, rigorous, regular education.

Incidentally, if you haven’t yet seen John Oliver’s tribute to Orlando, it’s a must-watch. If you’d like to help the Orlando victims, here’s what you can do.

Okay, this really doesn’t feel like a situation where less is more. MORE IS MORE!

We are thinking of everyone affected by the Orlando tragedy, and praying that these acts of terrorism become extinct as soon as possible. Each and every LGBTQIA person deserves to be shown love, respect and grace.
