The severity of depression is difficult to explain, and while those who suffer never want to hurt the people around them, they also know how tough it is to fight. It’s an everyday battle.

Having a supportive partner means everything in the world. Six months ago, Imgur user Mollywho posted an image online of the lovely tribute her husband wrote for her. By the look on her face alone, it’s obvious how much these beautiful reminders meant to her.

Who knows if her husband knew at the time what an amazing gift this message truly is. No matter what, anyone can feel a little better having a reminder like this. She writes,

Mollywho noted that she found these words after coming home from a trip. The first thing she did? She cried. But then she saw these beautiful words on the mirror to her left, and things got better.

For those of you who love someone who is suffering, always remember how powerful your words can be. And for those of you suffering yourself, never forget how much you’re loved — you are so much more than this awful disorder.
