What happens when an actress we adore wears an outfit covered in cute animals? She creates a wonderful feline fashion statement that is totally purr-fect in every way.

Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the 2016 New York City Center Gala wearing a blazer covered in adorable embroidered cats and basically won our hearts forever.

The actress was supporting her brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, in his performances of Sunday in the Park with George. Jake is performing in the show over the next couple days as a fundraiser. He is apparently spectacular, which is not surprising since he’s such a talented actor. But his sister’s playful cat outfit choice in the audience definitely stole the show.

The famous work of art she’s standing in front of  (which is the inspiration for the play she was attending) pales in comparison to the stylish work of kitty art she’s sporting on her blazer.

We can’t handle the adorableness of cats all over this blazer. It’s a one of the cutest and furriest patterns we’ve ever laid eyes on.

The embroidery of the piece itself is extremely impressive, with every colorful cat face sporting some super-cute expressions *and* really intricate designs.

Maggie seems really chill about casually rocking it, which makes us love her all the more.

Basically, we need more cat blazers like this on everyone. It’s playful, fun, and can go with anything because who doesn’t love a little extra cat in an ensemble? No matter what furry friend you love to have as a companion, this is a seriously delightful blazer that we are genuinely obsessed with and would love to see more of.
