Mad Max: Fury Road has been winning all kinds of critical and fan acclaim, in part because of the strong women in the film. But Mad Max isn’t the only pop culture hit that focuses on a group of women who have escaped abuse and overcome their painful history to kick some ass. And now, finally, a true genius has combined the women of Mad Max with the theme song for another fictional hero: Kimmy Schmidt.

While bringing together the high-action of Mad Max and the uplifting theme song of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt might seem like a stretch, Albert Lopez’s perfect mashup shows that the central messages line up pretty well. In both, a group of women survive awful ordeals (played for comedy in the case of Kimmy Schmidt), break free and refuse to let anyone control them ever again. Females are strong as hell, whether they’re surviving a post-apocalyptic world or navigating New York City.
