John Krasinski didn't "genuinely love" Jenna Fischer, according to John Krasinski
Just a few days ago, we were talking about the equally bizarre and adorable, real-life love story surrounding Jim and Pam (aka John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer) from The Office. Now, we have some bad news for all the hopeful fans out there who have since let their imaginations get the best of them (we did too, don’t worry): that love story has come to an abrupt end.
But first, let’s go back to the beginning and recap. On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a devoted fan called in and asked Fischer if she’s close with Krasinski in real life. Here’s what she had to say:
It turns out that we weren’t the only ones to tilt our heads at the “genuinely in love” part because John Krasinski recently denied this claim. In an interview with The Daily Beast, the actor stated:
Did you hear that? That’s the sound of all of our hearts crumbling into a million sad pieces. How could you do this to us,
Jim John? Also, we can’t help but question why Kransinski would say he “feels bad” for Fischer. Doesn’t that seem harsh? What’s with the weirdly-kinda-hostile tone, Krasinski?
While Krasinski may not have genuinely loved his on-screen wife – though it sounds like they had a great working relationship – he definitely loves Emily Blunt and had the most wonderful things to say about her:
Well. It now seems that Jim and Pam’s undying love will have to live on in fans’ hopelessly romantic hearts. But if there’s ever an Office reunion, we’ll be there.
