Jennifer Lawrence wants to set the record straight about her body. It looks the way it looks because she works her butt off —no magic here. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Lawrence admitted that she indeed works out every single day. You can either find her sweating it out at Pilates or hiking with her cute dog Pippa. In other words, no, that body of hers doesn’t come naturally.

But this isn’t the part of the interview that matters most. Lawrence wants readers to understand how the media’s fascination with her weight affects her body image and how we’ve got the whole “normal body” thing all wrong.

Lawrence refers to how often people point to her and proclaim how great it is that she’s got a “normal body.” She says, “I’m like, ‘I don’t have a normal body.’ I do Pilates every day. I eat, but I work out a lot more than a normal person. I think we’ve gotten so used to underweight that when you are a normal weight it’s like, ‘Oh my god, she’s curvy.’ Which is crazy.”

She went on to tell the magazine that she wants to create a new “normal body” type, because Hollywood’s standards have become misleading and they’re sending the wrong message to young girls everywhere. Amen, J-Law.

But that’s not all Lawrence talked about in her interview. She also confessed that she’s a homebody who rarely goes out. When she does party, though, she ends up puking. Gotta love her honesty. Luckily, at the last Adele concert she went to, Emma Stone was there to hold her hair back as she threw up at the end of the night.

Did we expect anything less from Emma Stone? Lawrence is known for keeping good relationships with other big-time celebrities as well, like Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer. Judging by her track record, she’s the kind of person who really enjoys a little humor in her life — which is precisely why she loves The Onion.

The Onion headlines get me every time,” she said. “The last one that made me laugh was ‘Ugly Girl Got Killed.'” So good to know she values a chuckle just as much as she does a workout.
