This is what will happen when January's super blue moon doubles as a lunar eclipse
We’ve gotten through the first month of 2018, which is certainly no easy feat. Besides the difficult energy January can bring up on its own, this month has been jam-packed with some especially intense cosmic energy. We started the year off with a super full moon on January 1st and are ending it with a super full moon eclipse on January 31st. Not only is this a blue moon because it’s the second full moon in a month — it’s also a total lunar eclipse.
Full moons are a time when we manifest; as the light illuminates the sky, she illuminates the shadows of our hearts and souls as well. We have the opportunity to think of what we want, cast the line out, and then pull it back in. This energy may come in the form of psychic senses being on high (hello intuition), feelings coming off as more intense than usual, and magick being more tangible than normal.
And paired with a total lunar eclipse? Well that’s just next-level.
You can try your hand at manifesting by taking time the day before or after the full moon eclipse to meditate on what you’re trying to manifest. You can then work on cultivating this during the next six months to a year. Write whatever you manifest down and be intentional with it. Hang it up where you can see it and read it to yourself often — especially under the light of full and new moon. Check in with yourself and your goals, and remember that any work you ask the cosmos to help you with has to be met with work in real life.
Happy super blue moon lunar eclipse! No matter how you celebrate, we hope you take some time to honor your vision of the year to come.
