This ring was once a nail. Like the kind you use with a hammer. And now it’s been transformed into a ring. Smoothed and polished and shiny and curved. That’s Nik Stone jewelry. She takes hardware — nuts, bolts, nails, even hammers — and turns them into rings, necklaces, and bracelets. Some even have black diamond detailing. Stone is brilliant for taking common objects and making them wearable art.

I guess you could say when it comes to jewelry, Nik Stone….nails it. (I’m sorry, I had to.)

Nail ring, $115, Nickstone.com/store.
