Our favorite witches are back. But did you really think the original Glinda (Kristin Chenoweth) and Elphaba (Idina Menzel) were gone “for good”? Well, not anymore. At least not in Wicked’s #OutofOz music video series, where Chenoweth and Menzel came together to sing “For Good.” The video was shown Monday at the Second Stage Theatre’s gala that honored Wicked producer David Stone, according to People.

In 2003, Chenoweth and Menzel took on their witch roles in Broadway’s Wicked — and you probably remember that Menzel won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2004, competing against Chenoweth. The ladies are wickedly a-maz-ing on their own, but even more so together. The last time the duet sang together was at those Tony Awards… back in 2004. As you’ll see when you watch their latest duet, it was definitely worth the wait. But, note: You may cry (“for good”), so have some Kleenex ready.

ICYMI, in the Wicked musical, “For Good” is sung toward the end of the play as Glinda and Elphaba say goodbye to each other. Before the song, Elphaba gives Glinda her book of spells, the Grimmerie, so she can continue Elphaba’s mission.

On October 30, 2013, Wicked, aka the musical we love to love, celebrated its tenth anniversary on Broadway, winning over 50 major awards along the way, including Tony Awards and a Grammy. Time flies, right? But we couldn’t be happier that it’s still running. Hopefully, “for good.”
