As 2016 approaches, many of you are probably thinking about all the changes you want to make, about the fresh start we’re about to be given. You may even have the mantra New year, new me! running through your brain on a constant loop as you write down all your resolutions. Even so, such resolutions can be a bit of a hassle (especially since they can take forever to accomplish). So what’s a quick fix?

Changing your hair, of course!

Maybe this is the year you plan on changing your hairstyle, which is why you’ve been doing some research on Instagram and Pinterest. Along the way, you’ve come across some celebrity styles you love and some chic, natural-looking colors, but – you couldn’t resist – you began to imagine what you’d look like with vibrant, rainbow hair! That’s probably because you came across one of Ursula Goff‘s photos:

Ursula is a hairstylist/Rainbow Hair Color Queen. And she looks like a magical character straight out of Wonderland. Above all, it wouldn’t surprise us if her photos were saved and brought to hairstylists across the globe by clients who want the same look.

Be that as it may, Ursula wants to make one thing very clear about her snapshots: they aren’t edited, but they are made to look a certain way.

“I think it’s important to note that lighting, angles, facial expression, and make-up make a huge difference in photography and presentation (especially in my case!),” Goff writes on Facebook. “Social media can make it easy to feel like everyone else is awesome and perfect all the time, but that’s really never true. We should keep in mind that behind every pretty face or perfect lifestyle is a regular person, and that there’s really no point in comparing amongst ourselves because this is all cultivated.”

This is the photo that accompanies the above caption (and yes, that is Ursula on the right and the left):
