As she was preparing to design her debut swimwear collection, designer Lydia Maurer found women of all ages, sizes, and walks of life to find answers to the question: how can we make shopping for swimwear a more pleasant experience?

The result of all those honest conversations is finally here, and it’s called Phylyda, a fashion-forward line of swimsuits and loungewear with an emphasis on fit and flattery for all different body types.

“Essentially, I think as a designer, it is my job to make pieces that work with the natural shape of different bodies and to bring out the best of what’s there,” Lydia told Vogue.

Can we get an AMEN for that?

Phylyda suits will be available in sizes 4 to 18, and up to a 42F cup.

A capsule collection of mix-and-match basics in all black launched yesterday, and the full collection will be available in November.

Between this and other exciting new sexy, size-inclusive swimsuit lines like Ashley Graham’s collection for Swimsuits For All, we’re so stoked to see the swimwear world finally starting to embrace curves and body diversity.

The only downside? Now it’s way harder to choose just one suit!
