We’re kicking off 2016 with a pretty insane, but beautiful viral trend: The mermaid pillow.

When Fox 4 Dallas consumer reporter Steve Noviello went to a store called Nebraska Furniture Mart with a friend, they discovered the most weird / gorgeous / SPARKLY thing in the world: the “Mermaid Pillow.” Essentially, the pillow can change colors when you “draw” on it with your hand. Steve and his friend were understandably pretty mesmerized by the pillows, so they decided to livestream themselves messing around with said pillow. Noviello then posted the vid to Facebook, not realizing that the Internet would be just as mesmerized.

In just three days, the video has been viewed almost 30 million times, with over 220,000 likes and 460,000 shares. “We were blown away that many people would stop what they were doing on a Sunday afternoon to watch us goofing around with some pillow,” Noviello told BuzzFeed.

Honestly, we’re not surprised at all. Like, seriously, first it’s a blue sequined pillow:

Noviello told BuzzFeed that he’s been getting inquiries from people as far away as Iraq asking him where they can buy a Mermaid Pillow. Unfortunately, they’re pretty pricey — $149.99. “They’re $149, but you have to realize that it’s probably 1,000 different pillows in one,” they say in their livestream “So it’s really pennies on the dollar.”

He’s got a point. After all, it does come in two colors, and you can make any pattern you want, as Instagram users (and stores who want to capitalize on this trend!) have been demonstrating:

We honestly are dying to get our hands on one, but they’re selling out fast. You can buy one here for a discounted price of $99.00.

“I’ve been a TV journalist for almost 20 years, I have six Emmys sitting on the shelf,” Noviello told BuzzFeed. “[And] the most watched piece of video that I will probably ever produce in my career is about some pillow.”
