Kate Middleton wore Princess Diana's favorite tiara, and it's positively STUNNING
When most of us hear the word “tiara” we probably also think “costume party.” But there are some people in the world who get to actually wear them in real life. Like you know, Kate Middleton AKA the Duchess of Cambridge! And not just any tiara, mind you.
We just found out that Middleton wore Princess Diana’s Knot tiara for an annual event honoring Britain’s diplomatic community at Buckingham Palace, and looked absolutely breathtaking.
Vanity Fair notes that the tiara holds special significance, as it was given to Princess Diana by the Queen as a wedding present in 1981. If you freaked out when Middleton wore the Lotus Flower tiara last year, prepare to have your mind blown even more!
And we love how Middleton paired the sparkly tiara with sparkly diamond earrings!
Okay, we also have to talk about this Jenny Packham DRESS because it is stunning. Middleton obviously likes this designer, because she’s worn her gowns before and looked effortlessly glam. And she’s not the only fan; America Ferrara has also rocked a Jenny Packham gown.
But back to Kate Middleton and her perfect tiara.
This is the fifth time (since she became Duchess of Cambridge) that she’s worn a tiara, and she seriously looks like she was born to wear them. Because when you think of a tiara, you think CROWN, which is not an everyday item of clothing. But you know it’s almost Christmas, and experimenting with fashion is one of our favorite things…
Hmmmmmm. We’re thinking #tiaragoals. Is that a thing?
