We love how Kate Hudson doesn’t take herself seriously — whether she’s singing Fetty Wap songs in the airport, goofing around during a workout, or sending hilarious Snapchat vids to her family members. Kate continued her social media shenanigans in a recent post on Instagram.
In a Fourth of July post, Kate shared a photo of herself modeling a patriotic-inspired sports bra and panty set from her activewear line, Fabletics. Before anyone could question whether her backside was photoshopped, she beat them to the punch. “From my airbrushed ass to yours… Happy fourth!!!” she joked in the caption.
As we’ve seen, women are still pressured to live up to unrealistic and sometimes contradictory beauty standards — from being expected to look young without getting plastic surgery to having perfect, cellulite-free bodies without digitally altering their photos. We might be a long way from resolving these issues as a society, but it is no doubt refreshing that a celebrity like Kate acknowledges this by basically admitting she wouldn’t have a flawless ass if it weren’t for Photoshop.
If you want the red, white, and blue underwear set for yourself (Labor day IS coming up in just a couple of months, after all) you can grab the Moorea Bra here for $34.95 and the bottoms here for $44.95.
