Guy Fieri is best known for three things: inventing “Donkey Sauce,” claiming that he’ll be taking us to a fictional place called “Flavortown,” and his signature spiky hair and soul patch.

But thanks to glory of the internet, we are now able to view the host of Diners, Drive-Ins  and Dives in a whole new light. Last month, Redditor LegitLemur made the best use of Photoshop we’ve ever seen and removed Fieri’s pointy coif and goatee in one fell swoop.

Guy’s gone totally NormCore, he’s definitely wearing Dockers, and according to many users on Reddit, reminds them of the Dad from Beethoven. One more time, now as a Gif from Redditor, JustinMcKenzie.

Honestly, “Regular Guy” has got a good look! So what’s the harm in switching it up once and awhile? According to an interview with Success Magazine from May of this year, Guy pointed to his accomplishments and their connection with his style.

“… If I probably didn’t bleach my hair, or if I probably didn’t wear blue jeans and a T-shirt to fancy things, if I didn’t do things that make me look like someone who’s whacked out of their mind, it’d probably be different.”

In other words, Guy Fieri is basically a modern day Samson. So while we all imagine Regular Guy, teaching carpentry at a high school in a parallel universe, we’ve got to love the Guy we’ve got — pearly locks and all. And besides, he’s the star of the greatest Vine of all time. Yes. That’s Guy Fieri autographing Lean Cuisines and throwing them into a crowd to the tune of “Worth It.”
