"Outlander" star Graham McTavish has the funniest story about learning how to wear a kilt
Today we got the answer to something we’ve always wanted to know — how to put on and wear a kilt. And Graham McTavish, who plays Dougal MacKenzie on Outlander, clued us in.
Well, he actually clued people in at New York Comic Con, when he spoke on a panel yesterday.
First of all, ICYMI, here he is in Outlander, kilt and all.
Now for the deets.
Wow. We had no idea.
And on Outlander, kilts are very popular, of course.
What is a kilt anyway?
Is it a skirt? A long pair of shorts? A skort?
However, some people prefer skirts over kilts.
And some kilts are habit-forming — once you wear one, you’ll want to wear it again and again.
All we know is, McTavish’s explanation above is the best thing ever, so keep it in mind the next time wearing a kilt presents itself.
Meanwhile, we’re going to go binge watch some Outlander eps. Who’s with us?
