The best part about fall is getting outside and enjoying the cooler temperatures and beautiful changing leaves. However, even if you live in an area that doesn’t experience much change with seasons, you don’t have to miss out on all that seasonal goodness! You can still make your living space feel like a magical autumn wonderland — here are a few ideas to help you do it.

Pair a mason jar candle and a DIY wooden pumpkin together on an accent table.

You can find mason jar candle holders at any home decor store, like Pier 1 Imports or Homegoods. If the candle holder itself is tricky to find, consider putting a pillar candle in the jar instead. Painting your own pumpkin cutout is a fun weekend project and adds a bit of charm to the room.

Decorate your mantel!

Who said mantels could only be decorated for Christmas? Head over to a craft store like Michael’s and pick up miscellaneous fall items and create your own mantel masterpiece!

Add lots of candles with warm, inviting scents.

Nothing screams fall like warm, inviting scents wafting through every room in your home. The ones above are from Midnight Owl Candle Company and smell incredible.

Spice up your outdoor area with pumpkins and fall flowers.

Whether you have a tiny balcony or huge porch, you can make any outdoor space fall-ready by adding pumpkins, gourds, and flowers (you can find these all at your local supermarket if you don’t have access to a pumpkin patch or farm) to it! Add a lantern for a rustic touch and voila! Your outdoor space is an autumn wonderland.
