So we’ve seen plenty of dieting commercials in our time, and it’s safe to say most of them are unremarkable. But we just discovered an ad that’s pretty much changing the game.

This empowering commercial hails from India, and it’s got an amazing twist ending that we definitely didn’t see coming.

The “story” starts off with a woman running on a treadmill. She’s trying to lose ten kilograms in two months, which is a solid challenge…but you can see that the stress is getting to her. Ready to see what happens after that?

This commercial was bursting with positivity and love. The woman wasn’t trying to lose weight because she wanted to change her appearance, or fit into a certain item of clothing — instead, she was doing it so that she could safely donate an organ to a loved one. It wasn’t an ad for sneakers, gym equipment, or dieting programs (all of which we suspected at first), but a call to action for organ donors

This was such a nice, thought-provoking twist on the weight-loss narratives we see all around us, and major kudos to the creative team behind it.
