With Photoshopped images appearing left and right, there can never be too much body positivity around real women in swimwear. That’s why we’re REALLY excited about Aerie’s latest social media initiative.

For its spring campaign, the swim and intimates line is encouraging women to post unretouched photos of themselves in Aerie swimwear with the hashtag #AerieREAL.

This is certainly not the first time Aerie has promoted body positivity in its ads. And it’s the second year in a row that American Eagle has done the Love the Swim You’re In campaign. The initiative promotes their swimsuits, yes, but also raises money for the National Eating Disorders Association. Meaning, every photo tagged with #AerieREAL earns a $1 donation (up to $10,000) for the NEDA. YAS.

The new collection is called Happy Swim. And it also appears to be modeled by un-Photoshopped models on the American Eagle Outfitters site.

As a result, there are tons of pics of ladies slaying in bikinis and one-pieces all over Instagram. And these women look AMAZING!

Because every body is a beach body!

We love that women of all shapes and sizes are participating.

Not to mention, young girls are part of the movement, which is beautiful.

These women are proving you don’t have to live in Hollywood to be a star.

And it’s awesome to see how the same look can be rocked on all different body types.

After seeing all these ladies looking hot AF at the beach, we’re feeling inspired to slip into a bikini ourselves. Let’s get out there and feel good about the skin we’re in!
