We love a good smoothie (who doesn’t?), but Uproxx just informed us that semen smoothies are apparently a health thing and we have LOTS OF THOUGHTS. Sure, we’re adventurous in terms of trying obscure vegan recipes and even that Khloe Kardashian’s rainbow smoothie thing, but ummmmmmm.

Semen in a smoothie? Let’s repeat that: Semen in a smoothie?!

Here’s the deal. Former model-turned-personal-trainer Tracy Kiss was all about the health benefits of semen, like as in using it as an ingredient in DIY facials. She then evolved the process to include actually consuming the stuff.

How does she even get it, you ask? Why, a friend comes over a few times a week with a donation of course! In an interview with The Sun, she said,

"When I first approached him, he was concerned I’d use it to impregnate myself. But once I’d convinced him it was for my beauty regime he agreed – after all, he has a regular supply at hand!"

 Aaaaaand the taste?!

"It can taste really good – depending on what my friend has been eating. My other mates think I’m strange, but I don’t give a toss."

"If he’s been drinking alcohol or eaten something particularly pungent like asparagus, I ask him to give me a heads up so I know not to drink it neat. Things like pineapple and peppermint make it taste better, but I’ll happily take it straight off a spoon usually."

Okay, our minds are sufficiently OFF the election and ON to semen smoothies. In a good way? In a bad way? It’s mixed emotions right now.

Advocating its benefits, Kiss reminds us that sperm is chemical-free and full of nutrients. However, The Sun article noted that there is no scientific basis for these claims.

So, um, yeah. Happy Wednesday world!
