This NBA host got the most intense sunburn we've ever seen
Summer is rapidly approaching, which means it’s about time to start stocking up on sunscreen. Because it’s that time of year when the weather is super unpredictable (we’re talking 20 degree fluctuations between days). And if you’re not careful, you can get burned. Literally. Like this NBA video host who got the most ridiculous sunburn we’ve maybe ever seen.
OddsShark NBA breakdown host Stephen Campbell fell victim to the awful spring sunburn after a weekend softball tournament — and had to appear on camera Monday morning at work. Before going into his usual breakdown, Campbell explained his awkward face situation and gave a quick sunscreen PSA.
Campbell also took to Twitter to sum up his ordeal, writing, “I was supposed to play 1 game of softball yesterday. Ended up playing 3. You could say today hasn't been ideal. Wear your sunscreen, kids.”
We often only put sunscreen on when it’s 80 degrees and sunny out. However, we can be more vulnerable when the temperature is in the 50s and 60s and overcast because we aren’t properly protecting ourselves AND we’re still getting hit with UV rays.
Campbell won’t be the only person to fall victim to spring sunburns. Now that it’s finally getting warm, start adding sunscreen to your daily routine to you don’t have so you don’t have to explain why you slightly resemble a lobster.
